We did carry out and ordered their pancakes, and three egg combos and it was great. The granola bowl was so good too!The pancakes were huge but super fluffy! Definitely going to want to dine in to experience this place in full but I can only imagine how good it is for dine in since carry out was great.
What a great breakfast place! We went on a weekday and there was maybe a 5 minute wait. I ordered the Keke's Special. I chose 2 French toast (upgraded to apple-cinnamon flavor for an additional fee). You then get 2 sides and I chose scrambled eggs (with feta cheese) and a small sunshine bowl (fruit was also an additional fee). There was a ton of food and it was all very good! Usually fruit bowls can be a miss with just basic fruit, but this sunshine bowl was fresh with decent fruit. Theresa was our server and she was friendly and great at refilling waters. Service was quick and place was clean. It is a chain and I wish there would be a Keke's near my area because this would be a frequented spot.
This place is one of my favorite go to spots in south Florida! Keke's does not miss! The food is amazing! The service is great! They try and sit you as soon as they can and are always friendly especially Heather at the Boca location! Lastly, the ambience is great. Breakfast vibes all the way!
We went to KeKe's with 25 people after a sunrise wedding. They had tables reserved for us, greeted us, and provided great service. We had multiple servers so everyone got beverages and ordered quickly. Everyone ordered off the menu and food was served quickly. The food was good and everyone was pleased If you have a group call and ask for Christian.
KeKe's Breakfast Café, 1385 W Palmetto Park Road, Boca Raton. NOTE: I also reviewed this restaurant on Facebook's Let's Eat South Florida page. If you are not interested in my colorful commentary, here's my 3-word review and you can skip the rest: Exceeded my expectations In general, I don't like overwrought menus and gimmicky restaurant creations. And while I certainly have waded through my share of menus filled with complicated entrees and supposedly innovative fusion fare, I especially don't want that kind of food at breakfast. It's just BREAKFAST. It should be eggs and bacon and pancakes and the kind of food most of us grew up eating. In my opinion, of course. If you need the trendy avocado toast on ancient grain, artisan bread, you have a right to eat what you want. But as for me, I avoid places like that. Case in point-First Watch. I dislike their overly trendy menu, but the other day, in a moment of weakness, I glanced at their online menu. To my absolute horror I saw their latest breakfast creation - honey bacon brussel sprout hash. Yes. Brussel sprouts for breakfast. Personally, I would not eat a brussel spout under any circumstances, regardless of how finely you shave it or disguise the flavor with glaze. But I know people think they need them with every course, so I turn my head away when I see them served as appetizers or sides. But I draw the line at breakfast with brussel sprouts. KeKe's Breakfast Café serves a solid, old-fashioned breakfast. It's not as good as my beloved Lester's, but it runs a close second. Yes, they give a nod to today's modern palates, and you can add all sorts of things I'd never eat to your omelet, but in general if you want bacon and eggs with a waffle or a pancake on the side, KeKe's has you covered. It wasn't busy when we arrived, and we were seated promptly. The charming young server brought coffee, and I give their coffee higher marks than Lester's. We both ordered combination breakfasts, and I had a pancake with sausage and scrambled eggs on the side. My husband had a waffle with sunny side up eggs and sausage. When the food arrived, it was hot, and the portions were very generous. The pancake was massive and fluffy, and it took up the whole plate. The eggs and sausage were served on the side. My husband's waffle was also very large, and he was pleasantly surprised, as well. Have you ever had sausage links at a diner and with that first bite you find that you can barely chew through the skin and once you pierce that armor you run into big chunks of indigestible gristle? Yeah, me too. Not so with KeKe's sausage. I loved it. And I am extremely picky about breakfast meat, so I ordered the links with much trepidation. There is literally no skin on the links and they had a little spice to them. They were cooked perfectly and browned but not burned. Okay...it's just BREAKFAST. It doesn't have to be a culinary fantasy. It just has to be good, and this was 5 star good. The check-$37.45 + tax. Is that pricey? I don't think so and the portions were large. I could not finish my pancake, but I had more than enough. No hidden fees, no mandatory tip or any other insulting up charge. I paid cash but I doubt they have a credit card processing fee. It's just BREAKFAST. But when it's as good as Keke's, it's a big thumbs up from me.
The service and food was absolutely amazing. Cooked to order Very appetizing Atmosphere was great
Well, well, well, what a hidden treasure we stumbled upon. We were looking for a new breakfast spot and stumbled upon Keke's Breakfast Cafe in Boca Raton. When you walk in, you are swiftly greeted and taken to your table. The entire staff is lovely, welcoming, and really seem happy to be there. The service was amazing with the lovely Theresa- ask for her as she anticipated our every need right down to the Cholula hot sauce for me home fried potatoes. I'm getting ahead of myself though. Let's talk food. We started with the iced coffee and hot chocolate and both were delicious. I like my coffee extra strong - this was a little light but still tasty. The hot chocolate was among with REAL whipped cream. No Redi-Whip here. Our order was pretty standard. The hubby has the combo with eggs over hard, country fried steak, cheesy grits and a buttermilk pancake. I had the silver dollar buttermilk pancakes with home fries covered in cheese and bacon and some turkey bacon (well done) on the side. EVERYTHING was fresh. It was well seasoned, tasty, and delicious. The pancakes are the best pancakes I've ever eaten. They were fluffy, light, buttery and just amazing. Everything we ate was deeee-licious and we will definitely be back. The prices were very reasonable and the portions were perfect. The sides were actually fit for two-three people. It is importantly that I mention that they have stuffed French toast. You heard me STUFFED French toast. The table next to us had an order stuffed with fruit and cream cheese (maybe, could have been some kind of cream). It looked amazing and that is what I will be ordering next time. For folks look g to eat a little healthier, no worries, they have some options for you too. We really enjoyed this local hot spot and can't wait to get back there. The place is clean, delicious, and the service is great. 5 stars from me!
Keke's Breakfast Cafe is part of a growing trend in the last decade or so of a place to grab breakfast in elevated surroundings than your usual greasy spoon diner. Once upon a time, it seemed that greasy spoon diners or luncheonettes were pretty much the only option if you wanted to go grab breakfast. Now with places like Keke's Breakfast Cafe and First Watch, you have better options if you are seeking to eat out for the first meal of the day (and what I was told since grade school was the most important meal of the day). Keke's Breakfast Cafe is a hometown creation, having started here in Orlando, Florida back in 2006 by brothers Keith and Kevin Mahen. Back then, it had the more straightforward name of the Florida Waffle Shop. This location was on Conroy Road and when the brothers started eying the horizon of expansion, they went with the name Keke's (which was a combination of both of their names) both because the name was perceived as more catchy and also because they could not obtain a trademark for the business name Florida Waffle Shop. From that humble beginning of one location, Keke's has grown to over forty locations here in Florida. The reason they have not expanded beyond the Sunshine State yet is that they have not saturated the market yet. The menu at Keke's Breakfast Cafe is filled with the usual breakfast favorites like waffles, omelets, eggs benedict and more. They also have a lunch menu, but I have only tried their breakfast offerings. All in all, my breakfast here was an overall winner. The food was very good, the ambiance was a great alternative to the standard greasy spoon breakfast joint with cheap chairs and chipped tables and my server was friendly, attentive and professional. Overall, I will give this place five stars.
My family and I visited Kiki's Breakfast Cafe in Boca Raton for breakfast this morning. While it wasn't our first time there, it had been a while since our last visit. Upon arrival, we were promptly seated, which was a great start to our morning. We didn't have to wait long before our waitress took our orders. I opted for the Western omelet with home potatoes and a hot tea, while my husband went for the cheese steak omelet paired with home potatoes and coffee. Our daughter ordered the kids combo, which included two chocolate chip pancakes, cheese eggs, and bacon. Each dish was served piping hot and bursting with freshness. The Western omelet was packed with flavorful ingredients, and the home potatoes were perfectly seasoned. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his cheese steak omelet, complemented by the savory home potatoes. What I loved most about the omelet is that they were filled meat, veggies, and cheese, as opposed to being overloaded with eggs like many other restaurants do. Our daughter's combo was a hit, with the chocolate chip pancakes stealing the show. Throughout our meal, our waitress was attentive and ensured that we had everything we needed. The service was prompt, and we didn't have to wait too long from the time we arrived to the time we left. Overall, we were completely satisfied and happy with our breakfast experience at Kiki's Breakfast Cafe. It's a cozy spot with delicious food and excellent service, making it the perfect place for a family breakfast outing. I have been coming to KeKe's for the last 6 years or so regularly. I love it here. It is almost a comforting ambiance. Servers and hosts/hostesses are REAL ... Not at all phony or superficial. That genuine nature of the staff has become a rarity anymore. Every experience is pleasant! I look forward to each visit. As you are leaving they always wish you a lovely day on one's way out the door. In my opinion, the overall experience is worth every penny paid for the food. I love the eggs (cooked to order). French toast is another one of my favorites, but you really cannot go wrong. I have never ordered anything I have not enjoyed.
